German film director Uwe Boll has gone from annoying all minorities to outright abusing just one with his next film "Auschwicz".



Boll has established a strong reputation for delivering some of the worst cinema made in recent years. From "Alone in the Dark" which cast Tara Reid as an archaeologist and museum curator, to "Bloodrayne" with its stand-up sex scene through the bars of a jail door.

Let us also not forget "In the Name of the King" which cast Jason Statham as a farmer with the imaginative name 'Farmer' and a magical boomerang for a weapon. That was of course back when people were giving him insane budgets and he had decent stars in his films. These days Boll is churning out several films a year but no-one is caring much anymore.

Now, a short teaser trailer has emerged for "Auschwicz" (found via Twitchfilm), a kind of Holocaust-sploitation film which starts off with Boll himself in a Nazi uniform playing a disaffected sentry outside a train carriage full of naked prisoners. From there it descends into a disturbing mash of graphic teeth pulling and child cremation. Watch below if you dare:



One should be shocked, but coming from the guy who did the likes of "Postal" and "House of the Dead", sensitivity isn't something you'd expect.

Everyone's favorite legendary cult movie star, Bruce Campbell, revealed his plans to make an epic horror-comedy sequel to My Name Is Bruce, a film that would be unlike anything anyone's ever seen before (except kind of like The Expendables and 300 combined). The biggest thing holding back the project so far is that they seem to be having some, er, script problems, as you can see from his recent Los Angeles Times interview.



GM: Speaking of your own activities, I understand you'd like to make a sequel to your most recent film, "My Name Is Bruce," called "Bruce vs. Frankenstein" and that you'd like to be "The Expendables" of horror?

BC: Yeah, "The Expendables," or more like the "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World" of horror. I want to get so many horror movie stars that people can't possibly not see the movie. I want to give them other stuff to do. I want to have Kane Hodder be very particular about what he eats. I want Robert Englund to be a tough guy, like he knows tae kwon do or something. I want to find out the hidden sides of all these people. Some will play themselves, some will play alternate characters as well. I may approach Kane Hodder to play Frankenstein. He could be Kane Hodder himself fighting himself as Frankenstein. It could be crazy. It's a silly concocted story that we hope to do maybe in a year or so. My breaks between "Burn Notice" have been getting tighter because they've been adding episodes. They're trying to trap me like a rat in the TV world, and I might just let them. There's a script, it just kind of blows right now, so no one's really seeing it. We gotta work on it. Definitely shoot in Oregon all on a stage. It's like the "300″ of horror comedies. We want to make it a whole world. Someone's gotta take Frank down for good.

If he can really pull this off (and hey, he's Bruce Campbell, of course he can) then we'll definitely be one of those who can't possibly not see it.

A script review of Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance has been uncovered by Comicus, and the alleged reviewer has some details to share about what's to come in this sequel (be aware of potential SPOILERS).



Comicus is in Italian, so Comic Book Movie ran the info through Google Translate and came up with this:

"After the success of the first film is not exciting among fans, Sony / Columbia Pictures will try again with what in effect is basically a sequel, though at the same time is the way to revive the character and the franchise some lightening issues that had covered the first film, especially as regards the presence of Roxanne, which does not appear in the script.

Johnny Blaze found years after the events of the first film, self-exiled from the world. In this way, hopefully, not having contact with people, able to control the spirit of Vengeance. Blaze is approached by Moreau, a monaco quite unusual part of the monastic order of Michael, the warrior angel. The Monaco but needs the special talents of former stuntman to trace a woman named Nadya and her son Danny, who must be protected at all costs, as there is on his trail Roarke, who is none other than an old knowledge of our hero (you certainly understand who they are) and is interested in the guy for a particular reason.

The script strongly underlines the tormented soul of Johnny Blaze since its first appearance. For he is a man who just wants to hide and who sees in his power a curse, more muted than in films directed by Mark Steven Johnson. The script focuses on the background in this way also "historic" that covers Ghost Rider, explaining in more detail to the viewer and the protagonist that the spirit of Vengeance is appearing more than once, and with different identities over the centuries. An interesting part of this working thanks to the characterization, creating a strong bond between the characters of Nadya, Danny and Johnny, also not forgetting Moreau, well shaded from start to finish. Only link with the previous film is a little flashback on the Origin of Ghost Rider, the covenant between Blaze and Mephistopheles.

A defect in particular, however, is to underline the main plot of "Mephisto" bad, or to Roarke, of course already seen in myriad other films in one way or another, and perhaps a little degrading, who expected more from this point of view. Ultimately the work is pretty good but could do better, also seen the one from which you started earlier. For the most passionate fans, there's a final twist, but much nerd. Not reveal more."

Ghost Rider is another one of those films that doesn't necessarily scream out for a sequel. On a positive note, Nicolas Cage has said the new film will basically ignore the first one, which not many people liked. Also, David "Batman Begins" Goyer is writing the script for it so it has the potential to be really good. ;)
